Tiffany Scurlock

Tiffany Scurlock is a native Washingtonian who joins the Flaherty Family Foundation as the Region 2, (DC, MD, VA and Baltimore) Scholarship Facilitator. Her primary role is to cultivate and facilitate relationships with partner schools, scholars and their families.

After spending nearly two decades in Catholic education as both an educator and administrator, Tiffany truly understands the academic and socio economic challenges that many high school students and their families face and has acquired the knowledge, skills and abilities to help them overcome some of these challenges and move on to be successful and productive adults.

Tiffany served as an English teacher for students in Grades 9-12 at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC for 6 years before transitioning into her role as Director of Admissions, where, for 13 years, she managed the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, supervised marketing campaigns and conducted recruitment visits to various churches, schools and fairs all over the region.

Tiffany believes in meeting students where they are and helping them reach their full potential. Her own insights as a first generation college student coupled with her extensive experience working with teenagers strike a balance that, as she has been told, “allows her to effortlessly connect with students in a way that encourages them to be the best version of themselves.”
