Charles J. Hallman

Charles J. Hallman, a Flaherty Scholar Alum and North Minneapolis native, graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a Bachelors degree in Sociology with a Minor in African Black Diaspora. Charles then spent 13 years in the Catholic Lasallian educational field as a mentor, Campus Minister, and Director of Service Learning at DeLaSalle High School.

Charles has spent over a decade coaching and was the head football coach at DeLaSalle High School and also an assistant coach for both the boy’s and girl’s championship basketball programs. He is currently the assistant basketball coach for Apple Valley Senior High School. Charles fulfills his passion in leadership development of youth and young adults in his new role as Senior Manager at 180 Degrees, Inc. In his free time, Charles enjoys spending time with his wife, twin sons, and dog.
